I got a mild sunburn Sunday afternoon mowing the yard, and it is still tender. I especially notice it when I first lay down in bed, or when I lean back in my chair. The pinkness on my upper arms has subsided, so it is only my upper back and shoulders that are sore. That will teach me not to forget to put on suntan lotion...

It flooded pretty heavily in several areas of Memphis last night. I got out of here right at 5:00 and made it home without any issues. It only took me 30 minutes (and I was driving under 30 mph the whole way just to be safe.) My coworkers waited until 5:40 (we get off work at 5:00), and ended up getting the brunt of the weather. Regina (the girl that works right next to me) saw a wreck right in front of her. The lady in front of her pulled out into an intersection as the light was turning yellow. She threw the car in reverse and started heading right at Regina's car, at an angle. Regina and the other person that would have been hit honked their horns for quite a while, and the lady took her car out of reverse. She then put it in drive and headed right into the intersection (effectively running a red light during inclement weather at rush hour.) Three cars hit her right in front of Regina. Yikes!

memphis drivers are known for their great driving intellect...especially when you thrown in inclement weather!

Yikes, indeed!

We've had quite a bit of flooding around here, but not as bad as our southern neighbors.

Wow... I love the stupidity.
